We are closed on Thursday 25th and Friday 26th of December for Christmas (2025). Also closed on Thursday 1st of January.

The surgery reception is currently closed from 13:00 to 14:00 Monday to Friday. 

This number is for emergency calls only; all other calls will be dealt with when the Health Centre re - opens at 14:00.

The South Eastern Trust Out-of-Hours Service provides medical cover at night, weekends and bank holidays.

The local centre base is in the doctor’s out-of-hours building within the grounds of Newtownards Hospital.

Please remember that this is essentially an emergency service and therefore should not be abused by consultations for minor or trivial illnesses that can wait.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
